De Silvestro e Sauber: fine della storia? --- De Silvestro and Sauber: the end of story?

Sembrava fosse un'occasione concreta per riportare il gentil sesso in Formula 1, dopo decenni di assenza femminile nei Gran premi. Invece il "matrimonio" tra Simona de Silvestro e la scuderia elvetica Sauber sembra giunto prematuramente al capolinea. La colpa, tanto per cambiare, va attribuita a problemi di natura economica. Secondo fonti interne al team, la pilota non avrebbe ottemperato a certe richieste finanziarie. La storia è  sempre quella: prima del talento, della passione e della velocità pura, a determinare l'ingresso nel Circus sono gli sponsor e i soldi. Tra l'altro, la sauber sta attraversando un periodo molto delicato sotto tutti i punti vista. La situazione finanziaria è tragica, tanto che il team rischia di non prendere parte alla stagione 2015 del Mondiale. E anche dal punto di vista sportivo non c'è nulla da festeggiare: Sutil e Gutierrez non hanno ancora ottenuto punti, e la Sauber è solo penultima in classifica, dietro anche alla Marussia.
Sta di fatto, comunque, che la F1 sta perdendo un'altra possibilità di vedere una donna sulla griglia di partenza di un Gran Premio. Resterebbe, dopo un eventuale addio della de Silvestro, solo Susie Stoddart in Williams, a difendere i colori delle donne nella categoria regina.

It seemed to be a real opportunity to bring the fairer sex in Formula 1, after decades of absence of women in the Grand Prizes. Instead, the "marriage" between Simona de Silvestro and the Swiss team Sauber seems to have come to an end prematurely. The blame, as usual, be attributed to economic problems. According to sources inside the team, the pilot would not have complied with certain financial requirements. The story is always the same: first the talent, passion and sheer speed, to determine entry into the Circus are the sponsors and money. Among other things, the sauber is going through a very delicate period in all points of view. The financial situation is tragic, so much so that the team may not take part in the 2015 World Cup season. And also from the sporting point of view there is nothing to celebrate: Sutil and Gutierrez have not yet obtained points, and the Sauber is only second to last in the standings, behind even the Marussia.
The fact is, however, that F1 is losing another chance to see a woman on the starting grid of a Grand Prix. Remain, after a possible farewell de Silvestro, only Susie Stoddart in Williams, to defend the colors of women in the top category.
